Technology & Art

What is a Drone Light Show?

A drone light show consists of multiple LED drones flying in sync to form visual formations – such as mountain silhouettes, logos, lettering, or abstract patterns.

All movements and light sequences are programmed in advance and flown autonomously. A pilot and a technical supervisor monitor the process on site.

Typical shows last 7–12 minutes and can be used as an opening, finale, or standalone event.

Safety is our top priority. Every show is planned according to strict EASA guidelines. We handle the entire process from risk analysis (SORA) to final approval.

Our drones are equipped with modern GPS systems and safety mechanisms (Geofencing, RTH) to fly stably even in challenging alpine environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

How loud is a drone show?
The shows are very quiet. The drones produce a steady hum, without explosion noises like fireworks. Ideal for residential areas or nature zones.
How eco-friendly is it?
Drone shows cause no fine dust and leave no physical residue (trash, casings). They are well suited for sensitive nature and mountain regions.
How much lead time is needed?
Depending on the location and permits, approx. 3–8 weeks are realistic. For simple locations with existing permits, it might be faster.
What happens in bad weather?
Strong wind (over approx. 30km/h), heavy rain, or dense fog can influence or prevent a show. We define weather scenarios and alternative dates in advance.
How much does a drone show cost?
Costs depend on the number of drones, show duration, location, and programming complexity. Typical projects often range between approx. €3,000 and €8,000.
